Little Marghe
About This Spot
Stepping into Little Marghe in the heart of Phang Nga’s Takua Pa District feels like finding a quiet corner of Italy far from home—a welcoming haven where the hum of everyday life softens into the gentle rhythm of good company and familiar flavors. The air carries the subtle warmth of a wood-fired oven, and the pace here is unhurried, inviting you to settle in and savor the simple joys of a meal shared at the table.
The atmosphere is casual yet attentive, a neighborhood spot where families and travelers alike find comfort in both the food and the friendly faces that greet you. It’s the kind of restaurant where you might come seeking a reliable plate of pasta or a perfectly crisp pizza, but stay for the moments in between—the quick, genuine smiles from the staff, the easy laughter spilling over from nearby tables, the way the afternoon light filters softly through the windows.
On the table, dishes arrive with an honest sense of place: fresh, straightforward, and thoughtfully prepared. Whether it’s a slice of pizza pulled fresh from the wood-fired oven or a plate of pasta that holds a quiet complexity in its simplicity, each bite echoes a connection to tradition without feeling rehearsed. Cocktails and desserts provide gentle punctuation to the meal, offering familiar comforts alongside a subtle touch of indulgence.
This is a spot for returning to, as many locals and travelers do—a place that quietly earns its role in small family traditions and leisurely vacation days. Little Marghe doesn’t rush you; instead, it draws you into a pause, a moment where food becomes more than sustenance. It’s a small celebration of warmth and ease, stamped with the honest rhythm of everyday life in Khao Lak.

It has become a family tradition that every time we visit Khao Lak, we stop by this restaurant. Their pasta dishes are always excellent—especially the Carbonara, which is my personal favorite. The service is consistently wonderful as well, with friendly and attentive staff who make us feel welcome every time.

Highly recommended if you are looking for one of the Best Italian in Khao Lak. Good vibes and friendly staffs. Food amazing and great price. We have been here few times and really likes this place, great pizza and pasta. Tiramisu is a great ending of the meal.

The pizza here was decent nothing special. We ordered the ribeye steak, little marghe’s pizza and mushroom soup. The steak was perfectly cooked, although the soup was a bit bland. Overall good Italian restaurant but you can find a better one around the area.

Best pizza in the area with a proper wood fired oven and mega fast service (we only ordered pizzas when visiting this restaurant so no input on waiting time for other dishes).

Found this at lunchtime because we stood to shelter from the rain. We got pizza and burgers. Tasted amazing! We even returned another 2 times during our stay in Khao lak, the kids loved the pasta also (pesto and spaghetti bol) cocktails are good too. Thanks guys for your services

Best Italian restaurant in the town by a long way. Excellent staff and quick service. Pizza wood oven and pizza is delicious with a crispy base. Ravioli homemade and so tasty. On a quiet road and tourists prefer Main Street restaurants but this is a hidden gem. Even brought out a fan for us on a hot evening. BEST THING: you can bring your own bottle of wine (200 baht corkage but a bargain compared to wine prices elsewhere) and there’s an off licence on main street (French Spanish New Zealand wine all available ) don’t miss this if you like Italian food!

The pasta was a bit too soft and bland but pizza was good. The vibe was ambient and cozy, would recommend for anyone who’s looking to chill with friends.
